Refund, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy
At QuickFix Handyman Inc., we are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and a seamless customer experience. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible while maintaining a fair schedule for our technicians.
1. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by the Customer:
- Standard Cancellation: You may cancel your appointment without any penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the total estimated service cost.
- On-Site Cancellation: If our technician arrives at the location and the service is canceled at that time, a $50 flat call-out fee will apply.
Cancellations by QuickFix Handyman Inc.:
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, technician illness, or emergencies).
- In such rare events, we will notify you immediately and reschedule at the earliest mutually convenient time without any additional fees.
2. Rescheduling Policy
- Advance Notice: You can reschedule your service free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment.
- Short Notice: Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment are subject to technician availability and may incur a $25 rescheduling fee.
3. Refund Policy
Completed Services:
- Satisfaction Guarantee: Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, please contact us within 7 days of project completion. We will promptly investigate and, if necessary, provide a re-service at no extra cost to resolve the issue.
- Refund Eligibility: Refunds are generally not issued for completed labor. However, partial or full refunds may be considered at our discretion if it is determined that the work did not meet our professional standards or if errors occurred on our part.
Deposits:
- Larger projects may require a deposit to secure your spot. Deposits are fully refundable if the project is canceled at least 48 hours before the start date. Within the 48-hour window, the deposit may be used to cover the cancellation fee.
Materials:
- Unused Materials: If we purchased materials specifically for your job, costs may be refunded if the items are returnable to the supplier in original condition.
- Restocking Fees: Any restocking fees charged by the supplier will be deducted from your refund.
- Custom/Special Orders: Custom-made or non-returnable materials are non-refundable once purchased.
4. Exceptions (Force Majeure)
QuickFix Handyman Inc. is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, accidents, or global supply chain shortages.
